Official Trailer Debut of The Delivery Man

That moment when a guy finds out that he is going to become a father is a special moment, one they will probably never forget, but not everyone has the same experience. Like when David Wozniak (played by Vince Vaughn) finds out that he’s not the father of 1, 2, or 3 children but 533 children!

Yes you read that right, five hundred and thirty three kids! Thanks to a mishap at a fertility clinic 20 years ago David Wozniak unknowingly became the proud Dad to all of these kids. And now 142 of those children are suing to reveal the identity of their birth father. What is a guy to do with this news? Have a panic attack, go m.i.a., come forward? No, what he does is truly amazing, heart warming and inspiring. He secretly becomes kind of like a guardian angel to these kids. There to provide support and encouragement should they need it. If I am making zero sense watch this brand new trailer that was just released…right now!

I told you, heart warming right. But I seriously love the comedic value they brought in along with the serious side of the story. Example….Chris Pratt is hilarious! The clip where he is just sitting there as his kid is just smacking his face talking non stop…..go on admit it, you’ve totally had one of those moments, I know I have….a lot more then once in fact LOL And I don’t know why but it is always more comical watching moments like those happen to Daddy characters for me.

I for one can’t wait for this to come to the theaters. November 22nd can’t get here fast enough! Don’t forget to check out the Delivery Man on all the social media channels to keep up on all the latest happenings with the film! FacebookTwitterPinterest and of course Instagram.

Monsters University 3D in theaters now!

Disclaimer:  I received a complementary pass to see this movie with my family, I was not paid to attend the screening or to write this post. As always, all opinions expressed are my own.

Monsters University finally hits the theaters today! The kids and I attended a screening of the movie last week and let me tell you something, I haven’t laughed that hard at a animated movie in a long time. Actually seeing Monsters Inc. may have been the last time so it was fabulous to see that even though this was a pre-qual to that they still made a family friendly, heart warming yet comical movie. I’ve professed my love for Disney many a times but dude really they are amazing. To pull off those three qualities in a single movie is a great feat.

If you haven’t seen the trailer to the movie yet watch this………

Ever since Mike Wazowski (voice of Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he had one dream….to become a Scarer. Now a college student at Monsters University he tries harder then any other monster there to prove his worth and show everyone there that he is the best Scarer. But not everything goes as planned. During his first semester at college Mike’s plans go awry when he butts heads with hotshot James P. Sullivan, Sulley (voice of John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer and son of the famous Phil Sullivan.

Sulley and ROR…Roar Omega Roar aka the “cool” kids

Dean Hardscrabble. Totally scary looking and for a second I was worried she might have actually scared my kids but she’s not all that scary deep down, she may even surprise you.

The “underdogs” Oozma Kappa aka OK. This group of characters were hilarious both as individuals but even more so as a group.

Mike and Sulley’s competitive nature ends up getting them both kicked out of MU’s Scare Program. As if that wasn’t bad enough, to add salt to the wound they realize in order to try and get back into the program and prove themselves worthy they will have to work together with a group of underdogs. It’s a wonderful story of acceptance  friendship, values and character. In short I absolutely recommend this movie for both kids and adults and Moms beware there is a scene or two that may tear you up a little bit.

Announcing Disney’s newest film, FROZEN

Disney is on a roll lately with all the amazing movies they have been releasing, and they aren’t slowing down! I just received word that they are coming out with another movie set to release on November 27th called FROZEN. First things first, watch this trailer.

Okay now lets discuss. Is that not an awesome trailer or what? Seriously I was busting up and feeling guilty that I was watching it without the kids I called them into my office and we all watched it together. We may have watched it three or four times already.

Here’s a brief summary of the new movie:
Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) teams up with a rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven in an epic journey where they encounter Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf all in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.

I can’t wait to take my daughter to see this, maybe my boys will come too since there is a male character in it as well, and it looks funny but no matter what my daughter and I will definitely be seeing this in November!

And of course to keep up on all the current happenings for FROZEN be sure to follow them on the following social networks….

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Official poster

Confession time…..I just saw The Hunger Games a few weeks ago and :::GASP::: I’ve never read the books.

I know I know, who hasn’t read the books yet anymore. It seems as though everyone out there who knows how to read has read them. And if they haven’t then they have plans to. Another confession, I had no interest in reading the books until after I watched the movie. In fact I was being completely silly and boycotting it because, well I don’t know why. It was ridiculous of me and I totally feel silly about it, but I have to read them now. I mean, hello??? I have to catch up before the second movie comes out right?

So without further a due, and embarrassment on my part, I give you the official poster for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

And in case you haven’t had a chance to take a peak at the trailer I’ll be super nice and include a peak for you.

Looks awesome right? Good thing I have until November to catch up on all the books so I am not lost like I was while watching the first one. Be sure to follow Catching Fire on Facebook and Twitter to keep up on the latest happenings!

Disney’s Brave Review

Ever since I first heard word that Disney was going to be creating a new kind of Princess movie I knew I wanted to see it. First off, I am a huge Disney fan. Second, what’s not to love about introducing a new type of Princess. One who is strong, independent, maybe slightly stubborn, and one who wants to be in control of her destiny. Personally I think it’s awesome. Now I am not knocking the other Disney Princess characters, I think they are all great but I really loved the idea of bringing in some change.

My family and I had the privilege of attending a screening of the movie Brave a few days ago. I don’t know who was more excited, my daughter or me. It may have been me LOL. I was a little worried that my youngest might not be too interested since the main character is a girl (he’s really into super heros right now) but I think he enjoyed the movie. In fact this morning he said he wanted to see the movie again. My daughter absolutely loved it. It was too cute for words to look over and see my baby girl laughing at the funny scenes and at the others she had a perma smile plastered on her face. Now I did hear from a few others that there were some scary scenes in it but I don’t think they are anything to be concerned about if you’re thinking of dismissing the movie just for those few scenes. Neither my five year old or my four year old made a fuss about it.

I will try not to give away too much info in this quick breakdown of the characters. They were all great in their own way. The star Merida was headstrong, fearless and she has this thirst for life that is unquenchable. Her Mother Queen Elinor was torn between doing what was expected and not wanting to hurt her daughter. Her Father King Fergus was hilarious. He seemed like the type to find humor in anything and one who has troubles sticking to the straight faced serious sides of life (I can relate to that hah). The three brothers were too freaking funny. Little mischievous boys which were adorable to watch. And who thought they could be even cuter as bears.

All in all I absolutely loved the movie. I laughed, I cried (shhh I am an emotional person so I tend to cry a lot), I ohhh’d and awwww’d and I would go see it again right now if I could. I’ve already told my daughter we will be buying the movie as soon as it comes out on DVD. It quickly climbed my list of favorite Disney movies. The message behind the movie is one that will touch you, especially if you’re a mother. It will even touch you for being a daughter because lets face it, at one point in our lives there was a time when we didn’t agree with our Moms. Would I recommend this movie, you bet I would! And not just for little girls. I think this is a great movie for kids of all ages, boy or girl.
